Dr. Zaki Hamarneh is a Gastroenterologist and Interventional Endoscopist. He graduated from the University of Jordan in 2010, and completed his Gastroenterology and Hepatology training in South Australia where he was accepted as a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians. He then went on to complete his subspecialty fellowship training in Interventional Endoscopy at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
Dr. Hamarneh is committed to providing high quality practice in Gastroenterology, in addition to diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy including Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy, advanced colonic polypectomy (endoscopic mucosal resection – EMR), balloon enteroscopy, and pancreato-biliary endoscopy including Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
Dr. Hamarneh also has a public appointment as a staff specialist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland School of Medicine.
Zaki enjoys spending his down time with his family, traveling, as well as playing the piano.
