Dr. Shahzad has a special interest in IBD and gut motility disorders, which led him to Brisbane for further training at Princess Alexandra Hospital. In addition to his clinical work, he is a Senior Lecturer at Griffith University, where he is actively involved in teaching medical students and gastroenterology trainees.
He also holds the distinguished roles of College Examiner for the FRACP examination and Facilitator for Supervisor Professional Development Programs. He also reviews practice guidelines for GP’s.
