Open access endoscopy means that your GP can refer you directly for an endoscopy without needing to see a specialist first in our rooms.
As part of this pathway, all patients will attend a pre-procedure nurse appointment to guide them through the bowel preparation process. This appointment ensures you are fully supported and prepared for a safe and effective procedure. Your GP will still assess your suitability for the open access pathway.
If you would prefer to see one of our doctors first, please let us know, and we will arrange a consultation.
Our goal is to provide you with the best care in the safest way possible. If after reviewing your referral we feel that a face-to-face consultation is necessary, we will advise you.
