Dietician

Paula is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) with Dietitians Australia and has completed a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition & Dietetics) at Queensland University of Technology. She is a Member of Coeliac Australia and the Dietitian Crohn’s and Colitis Australian Network and proud to be affiliated with Dr Asif Shahzad (My Gut Care) in Brisbane.

With over 12 years’ extensive gastroenterology hospital experience it is Paula’s goal to create a longstanding experienced private practice service that supports clients in the diet management of Coeliac Disease, Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome and other gastrointestinal tract concerns.  She works in close partnership with gastroenterologists and colorectal surgeons to help navigate clients’ dietary needs. 

Paula is passionate and genuine about helping and supporting clients on their gastrointestinal tract journey. Her goal is to create an environment where people can share their story, to listen closely to their concerns and needs, and set a pathway forward. She understands that everyone’s story is different, and these stories are often not simple or neat. Each story is unique and must be heard to map a personalised solution/approach for you
